574 New Balance Tokyo Design Studio Gets the “Vachetta Tan” Makeover

New Balance Tokyo Design Studio is recognized for producing higher twists on the brand’s lifestyle offerings, and this season, its version of the 574 is making a comeback.

Only a few colorways of the modern model have been released since its beginnings, and this newly-released “Vachetta Tan” colorway is one of the most luxurious yet.

The leather overlays around the toe boxes, quarter sections, and along the heels are the most noticeable characteristic of its upper half, which is finished with a “Vachetta Tan” exterior. A layer of herringbone-patterned cotton pokes out across the collars, toe boxes, and tongues behind these panels.

A mold is attached to the lower part of the heel and is dripping with a creamy finish and debossed with a “NB” emblem. Semi-chunky midsole components are separated into beige and gray stripes, while a toothy outsole with a tan paint job ties everything together.

They are currently available for $205 USD at retailers such as Up There.
