Since the 1940s, Salomon has been producing high-quality, performance-based sports equipment, but the French brand has recently earned crossover appeal in the fashion world, thanks to a steady stream of designer collaborations and appealing in-house hues.

Salomon footwear, in particular, has become just as at home on the street as it has on the summit in recent years, and one look at the brand’s all-new XT-6 variation explains why.

Salomon’s long-distance trail runner, the XT-6, has been revised as the XT-6 FT. The XT-6 is now more comfortable than ever, thanks to an improved technical upper and Sensifit layering structure, allowing you to handle all of your outdoor excursions with ease.

The XT-6 FT is shown in three colorways, all of which are set to release on August 20th, according to Mastered. The shoe’s upper is made of single-layer mesh with 3D open mesh for increased breathability and optimal foot sensation.

A molded OrthoLite sockliner conforms to your foot and provides improved cushioning, breathability, and durability. Salmon’s Quicklace tooling has a locking eyelet between the forefoot and ankle eyelets for more security, allowing you to easily secure the laces in place and make exact adjustments.

Salomon’s XT-6 FT is more than stylish enough for everyday wear, despite being designed for trail running and outdoor use in general.

With the silhouette set to drop in a few days, you can pass the time by examining our current selection of Salomon sneakers. The XT-6 FT will drop on August 20 at Salomon stores and online for $200.
