The Dunk Low collaborates with Skate Like a Girl, a nonprofit organization dedicated to “create an inclusive community by promoting confidence, leadership, and social justice through skateboarding.”
The upper halves of the collaborative offering are engineered with suede panels. The overlays and laces are both dressed in a wine-like red, while the collars, quarters, and toe boxes have off-white contrasts.
The Swooshes’ usual leather constructions have been replaced with pleated textures and rosy red exteriors, and the heels have been embellished with a graphic depicting two hands pulling each other up.
The official Skate Like a Girl logo appears on the tongues as an upside down Swoosh, and the insoles feature a hand-drawn array of female skateboarders.
No official release date for this pair is known yet, but we’ll likely see these hit the stores in the coming months.
