A$AP Rocky dropped his latest single, “D.M.B,” on Thursday, along with a music video featuring Rihanna, who is currently pregnant with Rocky’s first child.
The video is described as “an ode to the classic love story, with Rocky and Rihanna portraying true ride-or-die characters in a devoted relationship despite their circumstances,” and was written, directed, and executive produced by Rocky for AWGE.
The two icons express their love for one another across an almost five-minute adventure filled with special effects and comedic plot lines, bouncing between several New York City scenes. Rocky asks the big question — “Marry Me?” — later in the video by opening his mouth and revealing his grill, to which Rihanna responds with her own icy grill reading “I Do.”
Rocky, Skepta, Shlohmo, Hector Delgado, and Kelvin Krash produce the track, with D33J providing additional production. A$AP Ferg also contributes background vocals to the track.
