ABT and Audi have a long history of working together to push Audi’s RS-line cars to new heights, but none of their collaborations have resulted in a world-first, like this RSQ8, dubbed the “world’s only racing utility vehicle.”
This RSQ8, which is limited to 96 units, is nothing like the standard model. It has a “Carbon Bold” design language, which includes glossy black forged wheels with self-leveling hub covers, functional front skirt inserts with enlarged air intake grilles, a carbon insert beneath the hood shut line, carbon wheel arch extensions, more carbon on the spoiler and deck, and a full carbon diffuser housing ABT quad exhausts.
Those exhausts are connected to a four-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 800 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque, enough to propel the behemoth SUV to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds, and on to a top speed of 195 mph.
