Acne Studios succeeds in expressing multifaceted cultural wonder, whether in ready-to-wear or eye-catching accessories. In this vein, the Swedish label has revamped its Japanese-inspired Musubi bags for the Spring/Summer 2023 season.
The Musubi bag, which made its debut in 2017, is inspired by the knot style of traditional Japanese obi ribbons. Acne Studios’ supple and versatile invention has experienced multiple fabric/design alterations, appearing in woven, monochromatic, multicolored, and embellished variants since its debut.
For SS23, the Musubi bags are available in vintage tie-dye prints in charcoal gray, burned sand, dusty blue, indigo, and sea foam green. The two bleached tie-dye motifs are available in Musubu Mini shoulder bag and Musubi midi bag sizes.
The attention on colorful textural designs continues with the inclusion of a light-wash denin Musubi small bag. Details like contrast stitching and worn materials complement its smooth touch. Even though SS23 elevates the Musubi bag, the design is also available in simple leather in camel brown and black.
