Allbirds and adidas have improved their FUTURECRAFT. FOOTPRINT debuted a “Non Dyed/Cloud White/Carbon” iteration of its collaborative lightweight running sneaker earlier this year.
In keeping with their shared desire to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from footwear, the duo has combined Allbirds’ penchant for natural materials with adidas’ expertise in creating performance-focused sneakers to create an ADIZERO silhouette that emits less than 3 kg CO2e per pair.
Each sneaker is finished with a comfortable textile lining and classic lace closure and features a bio-based midsole made with 17 percent plant-based content derived from sugarcane and a lightweight textile upper. Each sneaker weighs just 5.4 ounces and is rounded out with subtle branding on the lateral side, ensuring a smooth ride with every effortless stride.
