AllRightsReserved and Javier Calleja Give the Rolls-Royce Ghost A Colorful Makeover

AllRightsReserved, based in Hong Kong, has formed an exclusive partnership with Spanish artist Javier Calleja and luxury automobile manufacturer Rolls-Royce.

The crossover features the brand’s Ghost model — the purest expression of Rolls-Royce — scaled down and wrapped in playful hues, as well as Calleja’s distinct outlines evoking his signature doe-eyed characters.

“Take the Best that Exists and Make it Better,” said co-founder Sir Henry Royce. The first-ever limited edition sculpture is a work of art from both sides of the fence. Calleja’s palette of predominantly pink shades accented with bright complementary colors blends together in an abstract manner with brush stroke outlines for a whimsical childlike narrative.

The Ghost silhouette has been shrunk to a perfect 1:8 scale model, which has been handcrafted from over 1,000 individual components. Each sculpture was meticulously finished in the same paint used on a Rolls-Royce Motor Car over the course of 450 hours to further exemplify the brand’s spirit of ACHIEVING PERFECTION ON EVERY SCALE.

“I was born in 1971 and back then Rolls-Royce was the ultimate king of the cars world. So to get the chance to work with them feels like when the king invites you – you can’t say no (laughs).” Calleja conveyed.

To celebrate the collaboration, a stainless steel sculpture titled NO WINGS TO FLY will be included with each purchase of the Ghost Sculpture Untitled. Calleja’s well-known big-eyed boy emerges as a polished metal sculpture with bright eyes and a corner smile capped by an innocent look ready to fly.

The Ghost Sculpture Untitled, along with the stainless steel sculpture NO WINGS TO FLY, is now available in a limited edition of six on DDTSore. Individual purchases of the latter are not possible.
