Balenciaga’s Triple S Gets a Heel-Less Makeover

When it comes to pushing the boundaries of footwear fashion, Balenciaga always manages to make a statement. The iconic Balenciaga Triple S Sneaker, a shoe that feels like it has been around for ages, first graced store shelves back in 2017 and has since undergone numerous colorway iterations.

Now, after the mind-boggling adidas x Balenciaga Triple S collaboration, the renowned fashion house introduces a fresh twist on the beloved silhouette—the Triple S Mule.

The Triple S Mule takes two classic colorways of the sneaker and gives them a daring makeover with a chopped-off heel. This leather-free design retains the signature elements that made the Triple S famous, including the distinctive three-layer sole unit.

The double foam and mesh composition features embroidered “BALENCIAGA” branding on the lateral side, while the European shoe size is marked on the toe. The “Black” colorway combines striking black and red accents with off-white touches, while the “White” version offers a monochromatic palette of creamy hues for a sleek makeover.

For those bold enough to step into the Balenciaga Triple S Mule, the sneakers are now available in “Black” and “White” on the Balenciaga website, retailing for $950 USD.
