Bella Hadid Walks the Runway for Balenciaga’s Fall 2022 Campaign

Balenciaga has just released a brand-new ad for the upcoming season, featuring Bella Hadid, as part of its ongoing marketing efforts for its Fall 2022 collection. The renowned model who is tasked with assisting in the introduction of the fashion house’s new “Crush Bag” is featured in the new set of images.

The campaign also includes Zuo Chen, Lina Zhang, Aya Nakamura, Inti Wang, and Abdou Diop in order to further express the creative director Demna Gvasalia‘s aesthetic vision. The cast is decked out in ready-to-wear that has been shrunk, distressed, or deconstructed, as well as jewelry and undergarments by Balenciaga, for the performance.

The Crush Bag, which was unveiled during Balenciaga’s Winter 2022 runway show, has a distinctive collapsible and expandable design that plays on the appearance of the traditional handbag. Notably, the supple leather construction features smooth, shiny, diagonally quilted, and croc-embossed variations, reimagining the iconic Balenciaga Hourglass bag shape with curved and pointed edges. A single leather strap or a chain that can be changed between silver and gold are also included with the Crush Bag.
