Taylor Russell has been named Loewe‘s new global ambassador, ahead of what is expected to be a career-defining performance in Luca Guadagnino’s Bones and All, in which she co-stars with Timothée Chalamet.
The announcement comes after the Canadian actor walked the SS23 runway in Paris wearing a structured black velvet gown. Russell also appears in Loewe’s upcoming SS23 pre-collection campaign, which was shot by long-time collaborator German photographer Juergen Teller.
“I first met Taylor through a very dear friend of ours, Luca Guadagnino,” says creative director Jonathan Anderson.I’ve never been so inspired by someone — it was the start of a very special friendship. I’m so proud that she agreed to open the SS23 show, and excited to have her join the Loewe family.”
