New Balance is a heavyweight in the sneaker world, with a reputation for collaborating with top names in culture, from Kawhi Leonard to Action Bronson. But now, the Boston-based brand is honoring its heritage with a fresh footwear and apparel capsule to celebrate its annual Grey Day initiative.
The footwear lineup is split into two packs, the “Moon Daze” and the “Grey Day,” with styles designed for both lifestyle and performance purposes. The Moon Daze pack features a bespoke selection of the 550, 580, 9060, and MORE TRAIL sneakers, crafted to look like the first pair of shoes to walk on the moon. Meanwhile, the Grey Day pack sticks to New Balance’s traditional grey aesthetic and includes the 574, 808, 306, 990v6, and a football cleat.
On the apparel side, the brand has prepared an assemblage of cozy and comfortable pieces, including an oversized tee, pullover hoodie, crewneck, dress, sweatpants, and shorts. All pieces feature the New Balance essentials stacked insignia and are done up in clean grey and white color-blocking.
The capsule collection is set to drop globally on May 15 via the brand’s online shop. With such a diverse array of styles to choose from, there’s no doubt that New Balance’s Grey Day capsule is a must.
