Kanye West has made it a priority to expand his YEEZY empire, and some of his newer adidas silhouettes will be undergoing some major expansion in 2022.
The adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT is one of the models on this list, and its upcoming “Slate Carbon” colorway was just revealed.
For this installment, darker neutral tones are put front and center. The sock-like uppers are constructed with PrimeKnit and are finished in a solid black colorway. Small accents of “Slate Carbon” are woven into the mid-foot and various streak knitting just above the midsoles for contrast.
The usual BOOST foam is stuffed inside the midsole units, giving wearers a cloud-like ride, and the ribbed exteriors have a stealthy paint job. The insoles feature YEEZY branding and are dressed in the brand’s signature color. Expect these to drop on May 28 for $230 USD.
