The Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase was introduced as the everyday sneaker after Jordan Brand created it. It was designed to tackle day-to-day activities while also combining a similar look to the OG low-cut Air Jordan 1 with FlyEase elements.
The silhouette was then quickly announced to be getting a “Biohack” colorway, and now it is getting a new look with a fresh take on the “Gym Red” color palette.
The upper of the new Air Jordan 1 Low features white toeboxes, quarter panels, and red mudguards, eyestays, and Swooshes. To complete the color scheme, red branding has been used on the black nylon tongue and black leather heel tab, allowing the red and white to meet again on the midsole and outsole.
It has also included a zipper that extends from the medial collar to the lateral heel, allowing wearers to slide their foot into the sneaker by simply loosening or tightening the zipper. The fit is also adjustable, as evidenced by the Velcro eye stays on the lateral half, which work in tandem with the elastic ‘laces’ to keep the foot firmly supported and in place.
The Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase “Gym Red” will be available for $130 USD on Nike’s official website on May 24.
