Dior Continues Its Floral Foray With “Jardin” Capsule

Kim Jones is leading us through Dior‘s green-fingered renaissance, as the house has released a new capsule titled “Jardin” to accompany its $8,700 USD gardening kit and Spring/Summer 2023 runway show, which transformed a traditional French building into a floral paradise.

The growing botanical emphasis harkens back to Dior’s origins, as its founder, Christian Dior, was an avid gardener and lover of all things horticultural. Jones presents signature Dior pieces infused with Monsieur Dior’s passion for nature for the “Jardin” capsule, focusing on the “Queen of Flowers,” the magnificent rose.

A rose takes the shape of the “I” in Dior and is displayed across a white silk and cotton-mix sweater, while the rose is delicately draped over the front of a relaxed T-shirt in blush pink. Classic silk bandanas are given the floral treatment, with various roses placed organically across the square accessory, while silk twill shirts are also given the full-body treatment.

Socks in pink technical mesh, a silver-finished brass and resin rose necklace, blush and gray-toned B30 sneakers, and a silk tie in black, green, and mauve round out the standout pieces.

The Dior “Jardin” can be seen in the gallery above and purchased now from Dior’s website and boutiques around the world. Prices range from $270 to $3,300 USD.
