Drake Receives First Emmy Nomination as ‘Euphoria’ Executive Producer

Drake has officially been nominated for his first Primetime Emmy Award.

The Boy was nominated for an Emmy as an executive producer on HBO‘s Euphoria, alongside fellow executive producers Adele “Future” Nur and Zendaya, who is also nominated for lead actress in a drama and two original songs.

Other new producer nominees include Selena Gomez as an executive producer for Only Murders in the Building, Variety reporting that she is the first Latina to be nominated for a comedy series in which she also stars, as well as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and Yoko Ono for the Peter Jackson docuseries The Beatles: Get Back.

Euphoria’s second season premiered in 2022, and it is currently nominated for 15 Primetime Emmy and Creative Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Sydney Sweeney. The 2022 Emmys take place on September 12.
