Golf fashion has undergone a complete 180-degree swing, with streetwear companies and sportswear imprints beginning to pour more emphasis into these product lines.
Jordan Brand is one firm that has benefited from this trend, as their golf footwear sales have climbed considerably. This season, it is set to re-team with Eastside Golf to create an Air Jordan 1 Low collaboration, which has just been announced.
The sneakers are designed with a very subtle theme from the outside. The tongues, side panels, toe boxes, and Swooshes are all made of premium nubuck in a dark navy color. Subtle elements include black laces, indigo internal liners, and rustic orange for the cursive Eastside Golf insignia on the tongues.
More Eastside references can be seen on the hang tags, which feature the brand’s golfer emblem. Furthermore, the insoles are mismatched with green and orange backdrops to reference the green fairways and sand-filled bunkers that players face during their 18-hole contests.
No release date has been revealed as of yet, But expect them to arrive this Fall or Winter.
