When it comes to releasing new Dunk High colorways, Nike and its SB sub-label have been putting out a lot of them, especially when it comes to collaborations. Imprints like Supreme and PassPort have reimagined the model in 2022, and now graffiti artist FAUST is attempting his own make-up.
For this installment, the New York-based designer opts for a regal color scheme. Blown-up embroidery, which lands across the side panels and alternates between all-black and metallic gold stitching, is used to implement his artwork.
To resemble the aesthetic of paint, the gilded areas have a drip-like effect. Tumbled leather overlays and suede toe boxes, quarters, and collars make up the upper construction, which is dyed in a solid black. For added flair, gold accents appear on the laces and insole branding.
Although a release date has not been set, these are expected to be released in the coming months.
