Jordan Brand continues to have success with the Air Jordan 1, releasing new colorways in a wide range of silhouettes every year.
And the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG — the shoe’s most popular variation — will see more iterations throughout the year, including the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Starfish” for women.
The kicks have a three-toned color scheme that is reminiscent of the legendary “Shattered Backboard” series, and these early leaked images show off all of the shoe’s key angles. The majority of the upper half is made of premium leather, with the “Starfish” colorway leading the way as it covers the Swooshes, laces, ankle flaps, and overlays.
The white quarters and toe boxes contrast with the black collars and ball-and-wings logos, creating a striking visual effect. The tongues and midsole pieces are made of nylon with creamy outers to give them a vintage look.
These Air Jordan 1 OG “Starfish” are expected to drop to the masses on September 22, 2022 for $170 USD.
