Following its Sid Pro collaboration with Vans, PassPort has collaborated with Nike SB to release the “Workboot,” a limited edition SB Dunk High. The Australian brand’s sample shoe was shown earlier this summer, and now we have a complete on-foot look at the latest offering thanks to the Instagram account YankeeKicks.
As the name implies, the pair is outfitted with hiking boot accessories such as multi-colored rope laces that match the color scheme and loop through the bolted-down metal eyelets.
The uppers begin with a golden orange ripstop nylon basis for the toe boxes, quarters, and ankle collars, which are then molded over the shoe with fuzzy green suede overlays. The luscious hue extends to the tongue brandings, tongue outlines, and liners, while the lateral Swooshes are dressed in a classic tumbled leather ensemble in dark brown. Mini embroidered Swooshes are placed just below the lateral heel, along with a gardener-like figure.
A black midsole with boot-style stitching lining around the sole in brown over a marbled rubber outsole resembling dirt adds contrast to the fall color palette. The Pass~Port x Nike SB Dunk High “Workboot” is expected to hit select skate shops later this quarter.
