Following last year’s reports, we now have an official look at the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7. The Holiday 2022 release honors the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, continuing Jordan Brand‘s collaboration with Marcus Jordan‘s retailer Trophy Room.
The collab, which features “Obsidian/Dark Obsidian/True Red/Metallic Gold,” pays homage to Michael Jordan‘s classic Air Jordan 7 “Olympic” from the 1992 Summer Olympics.
The shoe has superior suede uppers with embellishment in the style of Olympic ring colors on the heel tabs and metallic gold hardware. MJ’s signature appears on the heel area, and “New sheriff in town” is stitched behind the tongues, a tribute to MJ’s statement to Larry Bird and Magic Johnson during team scrimmages.
The collaboration will include extra laces, a clipboard, and special packaging to commemorate the two firms’ union. The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 will be available exclusively at Trophy Room in October 2022 for $225 USD.
