Fendi’s Baguette Gets a Delicious Twist for FW23 Collection

Fendi never ceases to surprise us with their unique and bold designs, and their latest offering for the Fall/Winter 2023 men’s collection is no exception. At Milan Fashion Week, the brand presented an array of cozy-cool oversized outerwear, cold-shoulder sweaters and an accessory that caught everyone’s attention: a literal Fendi Baguette.

The Fendi Baguette is a plush French-style bread loaf that comes equipped with a zipper closure, making it the perfect accessory to add some quirkiness to your outfit. On the runway, we saw models carrying the Fendi Baguette nestled in totes and holding umbrellas, adding irony to the iconic Baguette bag.

This yeast-focused accessory is an ironic spin on the Baguette bag, considering the house icon gets its name from the actual baguette bread, which is traditionally carried under the arm like a French woman would transport her fresh loaf. The collection also included new iterations of the famed purse, but all eyes were on the bread-style handbags that were toted on the runway.

While Fendi has yet to specify what the Fendi Baguette is exactly, it’s versatile and can be used as an umbrella holder, handbag, or simply as a statement accessory. The Fendi Baguette is set to hit stores during the Fall/Winter 2023 season, and we can’t wait to see how fashion enthusiasts will incorporate it into their personal style.
