First ‘Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 2’ Trailer Teases an Epic Showdown

Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 1 set a record for being Netflix‘s most-watched English TV series in history, and the show is creators have returned with a trailer for the second installment.

The new video, set to Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” shows Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and her friends returning to Hawkins with the goal of finally defeating Vecna.

Despite his warnings, Eleven returns home just as Vecna and the Upside Down’s threat closes in on Hawkins, as evidenced by red-hued snapshots of eerie apocalyptic ruins. Other scenes from the episodes show Dr. Brenner exploding and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Jason fighting (Mason Dye).

The latest season’s second volume will be released as a pair of episodes with a total run time of around four hours.

Stranger Things 4: Season 2 will be available to stream on Netflix on July 1.
