Future Sells Publishing Catalog Spanning 612 Songs in Reported Eight-Figure Deal

Future sold his catalog to Influence Media Partners containing work from 2004 through 2020. While the catalog’s exact amount was not disclosed, a source close to the sale informed Variety that the artist was paid in the “high eight figures.”

Future released 612 singles throughout eight studio albums over a sixteen-year period, in addition to collaborations, a reissued LP, mixtapes, and songs not mentioned on any full-length project.

Future’s highest-charting solo hit, “Mas Off,” is included, as is his GRAMMY Award-winning collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, and James Blake on “King’s Dead.”

His portfolio also includes “Life Is Good,” a classic collaboration with Drake, and “Selfish,” a collaboration with Rihanna.

“I put everything into my music, and I wanted to make sure these were in good hands as I thought about the next chapter of these songs,” Future said. “I’m proud to partner up with Rene and the team at Influence Media and send a signal that this music has timeless value. My music is my art, and these songs represent some of the most precious artwork of my career.”

Influence Media Co-Managing Partner, Lynn Hazan, shared that she had worked with Future during her tenure at Epic Records.

“We consider Future an artist of the ages. He resonates across a spectrum of demographics,” Hazan said. “We’re so excited about this partnership, it’s a fitting addition to our growing repertoire of top-tier talent and promotes our forward-thinking mission.”

“Now at Influence, it feels like fate to be able to collaborate with him again alongside my dynamic partners to protect his legacy and works,” she added.
