Inside Burberry’s “The Night Before” Campaign

Burberry‘s latest campaign, “The Night Before,” expresses excitement and anticipation ahead of the festive holidays. The British label has been extremely active recently. Burberry, for example, recently released a high-profile collaboration with Minecraft that looked into Burberry’s adventurous mindset while also exploring a reimagined version of London.

The luxury fashion house has enlisted world-renowned musicians Shakira and Burna Boy — both of whom make their Burberry campaign debuts — to present a collection of duffle and trench coats, as well as an assortment of sharp-fitting shirts and accessories for breezy city nights that also capture the essence and exhilaration of the night before.

Burberry’s “The Night Before” campaign, which celebrates the “ultimate feeling of self-expression,” shows its chosen musicians striding across freshly fallen snow, while both protagonists also rehearse to the rhythm of the season. Throughout the campaign video, the artists display a variety of evening wear, including tulle gowns with Equestrian Knight Design and an oak lead crest in light-catching crystals.

Burberry also offers padded leather parkas with logo details, black shearling and leather coats, and an orange cotton-canvas field jacket with a contrast collar and embroidered logo. The collection also includes several updates on classic styles, such as cotton coats in Italian-woven technical wool that are accented with the Burberry Check logo-tagged toggle closures.

A cashmere wool melange completes the menswear collection, with each piece adorned in embroidered flowers across a selection of cardigans and sweaters. Palladium jewelry with hand-applied crystal embellishments is available as an accessory.

Burberry’s “The Night Before” collection is now available for purchase online.
