Inside Kevin Hart’s Plant-Based Quick Service Restaurant, Hart House

Kevin Hart‘s plant-based fast service restaurant, Hart House, has now officially launched. The first store opens in Los Angeles’ Westchester area, launching the brand’s commitment to the overall well-being of people and our planet.

Kevin Hart, Andy Hooper, CEO of Hart House, and Chef Mike Salem, Head of Culinary Innovation, have joined forces to disrupt the quick-service market with plant-based alternatives that are inexpensive and accessible to all.

Burg’rs, chick’n sandwiches, salads, nuggets, fries, tots, and milkshakes are all produced with plant-based components. All foods are free of cholesterol, antibiotics, hormones, artificial colors, preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup, and trans fats, shattering expectations.

The 3,090 square foot Westchester site of Hart House is decorated with bright colors and a contemporary design highlighted by a mural proclaiming “Change You’ll Crave.”

“As someone who has been preaching ‘Health is Wealth,’ building Hart House felt like the natural evolution of my flexitarian lifestyle and my business ecosystem,” said Kevin Hart. “I’m beyond proud of this industry-changing restaurant and the amazing team behind it working tirelessly to create delicious, sustainable food that delivers ‘Can’t-Believe-It’ flavor in every bite.”

Aside from healthy options, Hart House is vowing to take care of its employees by paying living wages and providing best-in-class benefits, as well as assisting the greater community by contributing 10% of its opening day proceeds to Inner City Arts.

Hart House intends to open two more restaurants (now under construction), with leases negotiated in order to fulfill its goal of ten restaurants in the next twelve months. For more information, see the Hart House website.
