IWC Introduces Blue and White Panda Dial Portugiesers

IWC has introduced two new blue panda-themed Portugieser Automatic and Portugieser Chronograph models.

The two stainless steel models join the Portugieser collection in unlimited runs, with one eye on legibility and the other on summer colors. The blue also alludes to the Portugieser’s original design brief, which called for a large stainless steel watch with marine chronometer accuracy.

Both dials have a contrasting white polished lacquer finish against deep blue ‘azurage’ finish subdials, as well as blued appliqué Arabic numeral hour markers and matching blued leaf hands.

The 41mm Chronograph is powered by the brand’s 69355 column wheel calibre with 46-hour power reserve and is presented on a blue rubber strap, while the 42.3mm Portugieser Automatic features 7 Day IWC’s 52010 calibre and is secured on a blue alligator strap.
