Kanye West’s Donda Academy School Could Be Launching Soon

The SoCal-based institution has intentions of bridging elite basketball talent with higher level education.

Kanye West has an instinctive incapacity to be constrained by boundaries, particularly whether it comes to his breakthroughs in garment design, footwear, architecture, or music.

After releasing one of the most anticipated albums of the year in DONDA, the man now known as Ye is looking to add to his laundry list of inventions with a new venture: his very own Donda Academy private school. The new institution will most likely be headquartered in Simi Valley, California.

Details about when this venture will really launch are still hazy, but we do know that the goal will be to initially equip its pupils with a curriculum focused on problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and sustainability. Second, Ye will begin to make even more of an influence in the basketball world, since this will also serve as a new destination for premier level high school hoops players.

Think Findlay Prep, except you have Kanye West on your side and your entire team is decked out in YZY BSKTBL KNIT sneakers. Earlier this month, it was reported that 2024 recruit Jahki Howard, as well as Jalen Hooks, a top prospect from the class of 2023, will be joining the team.
Furthermore, reports about the club facing Sierra Canyon — the school where LeBron James’ son, Bronny James — are circulating, and a game versus Minnesota Preparatory Academy is apparently already scheduled for November 6.

More information regarding West’s upcoming business will most certainly be released in the following months, and you can learn more by visiting YEEZY MAFIA.
