BBi started designing the car with Hoonigan Racing Division and Block by taking a 964-generation Porsche 911 and adding some serious hardware. With a 1,400 hp mid-engine and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six placed ahead of the rear axle and driving all four wheels, the project, dubbed “Hoonipigasus,” improves the original vehicle’s performance.

Based on real-time GPS data from the 2021 hill climb, the suspension adjusts itself automatically. The car is the world’s only mid-engined, all-wheel-drive Porsche 911, weighing over 2,200 pounds in total.

The car’s artistic direction is inspired by the “Pink Pig” Porsche 917/20 Le Mans racer and is brought to life by legendary artist Trouble Andrew, aka GucciGhost. On the exterior, the new livery features custom artwork by the artist, including his signature ghost motif and “tagged” style graffiti typography.
