There was nothing conventional about the Lemaire Spring/Summer 2023 runway presentation. This time, the Parisian label offers visitors a tour of a former train station hall. At the top of the stairs and at the room’s entrance, a set of models greeted visitors as soon as they arrived at the building.
In this fully immersive experience, guests could see into the world of Lemaire as they walked through a room setting that allowed them to interact and get close to the pieces. The unisex collection is still evolving with the same goal, with storytelling as a key element of their line.
This summer’s collection is a lighter one, with flown shirts and dresses that give you plenty of room to move around. The pieces give way to a fluid movement that exudes sophistication and a lighter silhouette reminiscent of casual elegance.
In order to create a vibrant daytime color palette, the collection focuses on creamy tones with a shade of terracotta, combined with oxblood red and touches of ginger, baby blue, and fresh pink. The Lemaire uniform is extended by the use of accessories, which enhance the appearance. The effortless silhouette is given movement by long necklaces with pendants that are modeled after bead curtains.
