The shoes will be released worldwide via an immersive digital activation, but before that, the 47 Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 editions will be on display at a public exhibit to honor the late designer’s final footwear project.

Abloh designed the 46 bespoke pairs, which were made in Maison’s Manufacture in Fiesso d’Artico, Venice, Italy. The sneakers combine Nike’s classic design codes with the finest leather from the house and LV insignia.

Virgil Abloh’s 47 pairs will be shown in multiple installations in New York City and other cities around the world. The show is a nod to Virgil Abloh’s ability to create a one-of-a-kind and holistic spatial experience for all of his activations.

The exhibition gives visitors a closer look at the designer’s sneakers. The inside of the treehouse is recreated to include the exact detailed spaces from the Louis Vuitton studio and atelier he furnished on Rue du Pont-Neuf in Paris, paying homage to Abloh’s affinity for the youthful mind.
