Louis Vuitton has released the 2021 edition of its City Guides and Fashion Eye publications.
The most recent edition includes revised and updated editions for 15 cities, including Paris, Beijing, Berlin, Cape Town, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Milan, New York, Prague, Rome, Shanghai, Sydney, Taipei, and Tokyo, as well as all-new recommendations for hotels, restaurants, shopping, culture, nightlife, and more. In each title, a celebrity or a local expert offers their own perspective on the city, written in the first person.
The editions, which are available in both French and English, are packaged in a lacquered wood box and come in five different colors: Sydney blue, Cape Town green, Rome yellow, Berlin orange, and Taipei pink.
In November, the luxury label will release three new volumes in its Fashion Eye photographic series. Three iconic photographers are featured in the books: American photographer Melvin Sokolsky from his two most iconic fashion series shot in Paris, Bubble (1963) and Fly (1965); Chinese photographer Feng Li and his unconventional take on Paris; and Spanish photographer Robi Rodriguez and his unique perspective on London.
Each book is available at Louis Vuitton stores, online, and at select bookstores and concept stores. Each City Guide costs €30 EUR ($37 USD), while the Fashion Eye versions cost €50 EUR ($58 USD).
