While adidas‘ current emphasis is largely on high-profile partnerships like the adidas YEEZY and Humanrace lines, the adidas Skateboarding division still offers adaptable, daily necessities.
adidas Skateboarding turned to its all-star roster of skaters, including Lucas Puig, for a new take on his PUIG shoe. The French skater’s newest signature shoe, the PUIG Indoor, is made for everyone.
The weight of the shoe is a key feature that sets the PUIG Indoor apart from its predecessor. Its construction has been altered in a number of ways to create a lightweight sneaker that breaks in more quickly.
To do this, an updated sole unit with a vulcanized outsole and premium EVA midsole pairs with a premium leather upper. Together, the two are attempting to create a daily shoe that can be skated or not while also enhancing comfort. The “Cream,” “Black,” and “Gray” colorways are the initial choices for the PUIG Indoor’s release.
The PUIG Indoor goes on sale starting July 9 for $80 USD at adidas and specialty skate shops.
