The iconic comic book brand is celebrating 80 years of storytelling, blockbuster films, and its enormous cultural impact. And as the 2019 New York Comic Con set to kickoff this week, Marvel Comics’ artist Joe Quesada has teamed up with Foot Locker and adidas SPEEDFACTORY to commemorate the anniversary with two exclusive editions of the adidas AM4.

The first pair dubbed the AM4 “Marvel 80 Vol. 1” honors the brand with a large Marvel logo print across the toe box, with the anniversary breadth on the heel. The second pair entitled the “AM4 Marvel 80 Vol. 2” features an all-over style graphic that highlights the rectangular stamps seen on the upper-left hand corner of actual comic books.
The sneakers will be released exclusively during NYCC at Foot Locker’s 34th St. Herald Square location on October 4th, and will see a wider release on FootLocker.com on October 18th.
