As part of Disney+ Day, Marvel Studios showed a trailer for its forthcoming show She-Hulk. The series, which will premiere on Netflix in 2022, stars Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who develops a milder, Hulk-like disease after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner.
“I’m Jennifer Walters. I’m a normal lawyer,” Maslany announces in a voiceover, seconds before a green-hued version of herself steps into the frame.
Along with Maslany, Mark Ruffalo will return as Banner/the Hulk.
According to the 20-second film, he’ll be guiding his cousin through her new condition. Banner explains to Walters how the human-to-Hulk transformations are initiated in a brief scene cut. Titania, the supervillain, will be played by Jameela Jamil. Tim Roth of The Incredible Hulk will reprise his role as the Abomination, another Hulk-like creature.
The first season of She-Hulk will consist of ten 30-minute episodes directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia.
