Meek Mill Releases “Flamerz 5”

Flamerz 5 demonstrates Meek Mill‘s diverse skill set. Over the course of the 15-course effort, he tackles some of the year’s biggest records, including Ice Spice’s “Munch,” DJ Khaled‘s “God Did,” Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” Future’s “Wait For You,” and others.

Meek’s hunger is evident in every verse, which bodes well for what he has in store for 2023. Except for Kur, Yung Ro, Vory, and Tafia, Flamerz 5 does not have many features.

During his rise to fame in Philadelphia, Meek released the first installment in the Flamerz series in 2008. The next three entries in the series were released while he was signed to T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint.

The album’s release couldn’t have come at a better time. Meek recently marked the tenth anniversary of his debut album, Dreams & Nightmares. This Friday, he’ll perform at Wells Fargo to commemorate the album’s release.
