After securing a partnership with the NBA in 2020, Louis Vuitton‘s collaborative portfolio expanded to include basketball.
Since then, the French luxury house has collaborated with the NBA on a number of projects, including footwear, apparel, a mini hoops set, and a trophy case for the champions, and the two have now reconnected to launch a new collection of leather goods.
A backpack, a keep-all, a wallet, and a smaller duffle bag are all lined up in this assemblage. Each piece is crafted from a rich blue leather that is accented with tonal monogram patterns.
Each product also features basketball silhouettes with the LV logo inside, which are styled with red and white accents to match the NBA logo’s aesthetic. More contrast can be seen in the straps, which are solid black, as well as the hardware, which has metallic gold exteriors.
The collection will be available from Louis Vuitton on June 2, the first day of the 2022 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Prices are $4.6K USD for the backpack leather keep-all, $4.3K USD for the wallet, and $1.7K USD for the travel bag.
