Despite the fact that the company is involved in nearly every sport available, basketball remains a top priority for the brand. Including both signature athlete initiatives and lifestyle kicks inspired by the sport, the latter of which is expected to grow with the release of this Nike Dunk High “I Got Next” colorway.
Inspired by the phrase that teams say when waiting to play the next game on the court, and it’s a phrase that’s often used in streetball. The color palette of this upcoming sneaker uses vibrant blue shades to cover the toe boxes and various overlays, while the quarters are done up in a lighter gray shade.
Swooshes alternate between white on the medial and blue on the lateral, with fake droplets of water that likely nod to sweat while playing. The shoes are also embossed with the words “I Got Next” on the lower lateral heels. Angelic midsoles and translucent treading complete the basketball-focused look.
Unfortunately no details of a release date have been announced yet, but stay tuned, as the sneakers are expected to drop in the coming months.
