Nike is heavily promoting its Zoom Vomero 5 silhouette during the fall 2022 season. The lifestyle runner has been featured in a slew of new inline colorways, as well as in the 2023 Doernbecher Freestyle XVIII collection.
To add to its momentum, the Swoosh has just recently revealed a brand new “Black Sesame” iteration via official imagery.
This installment’s base layers have a more elevated feel than we’re used to seeing for this silhouette. The mesh uppers are still present, but suede overlays have been added, both in a dark “Black Sesame” colorway.
Autumnal brown notes play a secondary role here, making their way onto the interior linings, throat stripes, and sole units, which are also contrasted by beige towards the back. Tongue banners replace Nike branding with the Swoosh’s retro script logo, and the insoles feature bold blue backdrops and white rabbit imagery throughout.
Although no official release date has been share, expect these to arrive in the coming months.
