As part of their multi-year cooperation, Nike is releasing a new set of Florida A&M University (FAMU) collaborative special edition sneakers. The business and the institution signed an agreement in March 2021 to develop gear for FAMU athletes such as footwear and uniforms.
The Florida A&M x Nike Dunk Low is now available in the school’s white, orange, and green colors. The shoe is made of white leather with bright orange overlays and laces. The Swoosh is accentuated in green, and “WE BRAGG DIFFERENT” is embroidered on the heels.
The rattlesnake, the school mascot, appears on the tongue, as are words beneath the tongue tags that read the school chant, “STRIKE, STRIKE, AND STRIKE AGAIN!,” the founding year 1887 on the heel tabs, and “FAMU” on the dubraes.
On the lateral forefoot is also stitched “COLAC,” which stands for College of Love and Charity. To complete the look, the shoe is set on a translucent outsole that reveals the reptilian image on the underfoot.
The special edition Nike Dunk Low “FAMU” will be available on October 18th at select shops and online at Nike for $120 USD.
