NOAH Enlists Popeye to Create a Nautical-Inspired Capsule

Following last month’s celebration of Barney Bubbles’ work, NOAH has now released a collection inspired by E. C. Segar’s renowned Popeye figure. Noah’s maritime idea is carried over into the collection, which celebrates Popeye’s life at sea through a variety of garments and accessories.

The collection’s standout piece sees Noah continue its ongoing Barbour cooperation. The iconic Barbour Bedale wax jacket is available in white, green, or navy blue, with a huge graphic of Popeye on the reverse in each hue. Other items in the collection include work pants, striped long sleeves inspired by sailing, and T-shirts with illustrations of Popeye and his fiancée Olive Oyl.

The collection also includes a number of eye-catching accessories, ranging from nautical basics like a towel and clam knife to needlepoint key fobs and pillows. Other characteristics include five panel caps and a Popeye-shaped porcelain incense chamber.

The entire collection will be available on March 24th in Noah locations in New York, Amagansett, Tokyo, and Osaka, with the Barbour Bedale jacket also available at Dover Street Market London.
