Philipp Plein Hosts an Intimate Night Celebrating New Watch and Jewelry Collection

With a store set to open in New York’s SoHo neighborhood and an existing NYC showroom, the German luxury brand Philipp Plein is starting to expand within the U.S. market. On October 24, he celebrated the exclusive launch of new FW22 and SS23 jewelry and timepiece designs.

The watches’ official manufacturer, Timex Group, as well as brand supporters joined in the glitzy celebration of the collections. Champagne and light fare were served during the evening in the designer’s opulent penthouse, which was appropriate given the evening’s glitzy attire.

The new watches feature eye-catching Swarovski crystals, colorful faces, and striking skull emblems—a motif that Plein has used frequently in her most recent collections.

A standout of the FW22 collection is the $kull Diver, a model with a 44mm case adorned with a 3D skull, as well as the $kull Carbon, a model with a carbon-fiber finish. Both are water-resistant to 1000 meters. The range is completed by genderless designs, offering something for every sensibility. The SS23 Jewelry line by Plein incorporates these maximalist ideas as well.

Each Plein timepiece and jewelry design makes a memorable statement but can be easily paired with various daytime or evening looks, just like the brand’s iconic ready-to-wear designs.

The designer hosted a private dinner to continue the celebration after the event at his showroom. Dina Khoury, Angel Zheng, Brian Griffin, Dorian Braxton, and others were prominent attendees.

Philipp Plein Watch and jewelry collection are now available at Macy’s.
