Prada‘s latest sparkling offering — the black brushed leather loafers with studs and rhinestones — will put a glimmer in your step as the holiday season approaches.
Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons‘ team cover the black leather base with hundreds of hand-applied appliqués, ranging from tiny silver-toned metal studs to larger diamond and sapphire-like rhinestones, working themselves across the silhouette organically, as if you’ve stepped into a pot of glitter — in an even more frantic manner than last year’s pair.
The triangular Prada enamel plaque takes center stage on the loafer’s throat, while a clean bumper of leather has been left unadorned all around the shoe before leading to the un-rhinestoned heel tab at the back.
The loafer’s 35mm sole height, notched welt lightweight sole unit, and leather insole ensure all-day comfort, making this a pair fit for not just the Holiday season, but all year.
The Prada loafer is available now for $2,400 USD online or in boutiques around the world.
