Gary Lockwood, also known as Freehand Profit, has announced his debut museum exhibition at the Savannah College of Art and Design, titled Face Value. Over 30 of the artist’s intricate sneaker mask pieces are on display, all of which are pieced together from highly coveted kicks.
Lockwood kept the markings and style of the original shoes when creating these fantastical, 3D pieces, which are made up of adidas YEEZYS, Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 collaborations, Air Max, Doernbecher x Air Jordan team-ups, Nike SB Dunks, and ASICS.
The Exhibition will be open at SCAD through September 11, 2022.
