One of the most well-known and devoted footwear-focused publications in the world, Sneaker Freaker frequently collaborates with sportswear brands to produce genuine projects because of its ardent beliefs.
Simon “Woody” Wood is the editor-in-chief of this imprint. It has previously collaborated with ASICS on the GEL-LYTE III OG “Friends and Family,” New Balance on the 574, and Diadora. Now, it is back with ASICS and atmos for the launch of the GEL-LYTE III OG “Alley Cats.”
This sneaker debuts in an attractive combination of “Sheet Rock” and “Gentry Purple” before adding dashes of cream, white, and neon green, according to Sneaker Freaker, who calls it “a fitting feline footwear tribute to the mini-boulevards that criss-cross the respective hometowns of Sneaker Freaker and atmos.”
A rubberized latticework section has been added to the sidewalls and heel as a nod to the original GEL-LYTE III. Other features include unique footbeds, dual-branded tongue logos, glow-in-the-dark tiger stripes, matte aluminum eyelets, and heel tabs branded with “Alley Cats.” The tongue of the sneaker has an exclusive satin design, and the lower portion of the mid-panel, which rises to become a part of the heel section, is made of hairy cowhide.
In order to emphasize the colors of this shoe even more, you can switch out the laces for plain black laces or green and black rope laces. At night, glow-in-the-dark detailing will take care of everything for you. The dual-branded debossing on the gray suede heels completes the sneaker.
The ASICS GEL-LYTE III OG “Alley Cats” from Sneaker Freaker and atmos will be available on July 4 at stores like Sivasdescalzo for €160 EUR (roughly $166 USD). Look at the two people more closely.
