Sony Prepares For Next Year’s Heat Waves With New Wearable Air Conditioner

Each year feels hotter than the previous one, AC’s be working non-stop and yet we can’t enjoy the outdoors without sweating like we in a middle of a marathon race at the Sahara desert.

Sony has plans on changing that, with their latest crowdfunding project — a wearable air-conditioner called Reon Pocket which is a small, subtle, light portable AC which comes with an custom-designed undershirt.

Unfortunately, the Reon Pocket is only available in Japan, via the Japanese crowdfunding page. The device is Bluetooth compatible, letting you control the temperature via your smartphone. Furthermore the Reon Pocket also able to warm you up on cold days. During summer, it can lower body temperature by 23°F. In winter, it can raise it by 14°F.
