STAMPD Presents Monochromatic Travel Versatile Carry-On Capsule

STAMPD‘s fluid expression of surf culture interprets sparse use of color as reserved excess, having mastered the art of minimalism. STAMPD collections embrace fluid lines and breathable basics that float on the body for a more refined take on LA’s vibrant scenery.

The label envisions airy, monochromatic staples with versatile appeal for the 2022 Resort collection. These silhouettes translate as go-to essentials for early-morning flights and last-minute travel destinations, whether you’re spending winter in Venice or braving the East Coast’s tundra.

Like many STAMPD collections, “Checked Out” focuses on versatile layering. The collection, which includes soft-washed shirts, shorts, and jogger sets, is inspired by urban and rural landscapes.

Creamy grays and taupes dominate the color palette, with pops of seaside blue and graphic motifs adorning each piece. Building last-minute capsules for a weekend getaway is simplified and consolidated with this palette — this extends to the fabrics, which vary in weight and utility.

The travel bomber jacket is a smokey gray zip-up with a ribbed standing collar, oversized flap pockets, and ribbed cuffs, while the blacked-out zip-up has a spread collar with ribbing at the sleeves and waist for added shape.

A deconstructed blazer and pantsuit are featured in the collection, which reimagines these classic silhouettes with clean, minimalist lines and an oversized drape.

The collection’s prints feature a breathy cloud motif that captures overcast skies and moody tropical climates. Its sister style, on the other hand, is encased in a geometric pattern punctuated by black-and-white colorblocking.

The cool-toned blue sweatshorts are inspired by tinted curacao, and serve as a reminder to end the night with a drink or two. The 2022 Resort collection is now available on STAMPD’s website.
