Tesla has introduced its own Wireless Charging Platform. The charging platform, which costs $300 USD, is inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck’s “angular design and metallic styling” and features aluminum casing, a luxury alcantara surface, and a detachable magnetic base that allows the charging platform to be used flat or at an angle.
The platform can supply 15W of rapid charging power per device and charge up to three devices at once, while the FreePower® technology can charge Qi-capable electronics like phones and earbuds without requiring the devices to be placed on a specific spot on the platform’s surface.
Tesla’s Wireless Charging Platform is currently available on the Tesla website for $300 USD, with shipment set to begin in February 2023.
