From her recognizable look to her extravagant manner, Frida Kahlo‘s artwork has inspired many a generation and continues to have an impact on today’s cultural scene.

Her unconventional approach to painting has had a huge impact, which is currently being recognized by pioneering streetwear brand The Hundreds.

The community-focused brand has created an exclusive new capsule collection that honors the world’s most famous Mexican female artist through ready-to-wear and accessory items – perfectly timed to coincide with National Hispanic Heritage Month.

The new capsule comprises a 500-piece “Wildflower” puzzle, as well as a collection of stylized sweatshirts, headgear, and T-shirts, based on her creative documentation of Mexico’s socio-political milieu during the 1930s.

Tees and hoodies feature flowery patterns reminiscent of Kahlo’s famed iconography, as well as an update of TH’s “Adam Bomb” emblem with an intricate “Sugar Skull” overlay detail.

The Hundreds x Frida Kahlo collection will be available on the brand’s website, app, and at select shops on September 29.
