New Balance is constantly killing it, creating sneakers that rule the feet of casual wearers all around the world. The Boston-based label’s 550 model has become one of its most popular, experiencing a number of collaborative and online renovations.
New Balance the silhouette arrives in teal, purple, and pink, in addition to the vintage-inspired “Marquette” colorway.
The everyday sneaker, as usual, has a white leather basis with perforations at the medials and toe boxes. The latter has a slanted cut, and the heel counters are covered in teal blue suede. Above, purple mesh is incorporated into the liners, with brilliant pink leather embellishments gracing the ankles.
The spirited branding is carried through, with creamy N logos at the quarters, pink “NB” writing stamped onto the backs, and vibrant basketball designs embroidered into the tongues. The forefoot is accented with 550 marks, and the style is completed with white midsoles and two-toned rubber bottoms.
This updated version of the New Balance 550 is set to hit shelves later this year through New Balance’s website and select retailers for $110 USD.
